Diesel Technology

The demand for highly skilled diesel technicians continues to grow each and every year. And with various types of advanced electronic and computerized testing equipment becoming prominent throughout the industry today, the professionals who have the skills to utilize this technology hold a significant advantage over those who do not.

Through a balanced combination of classroom sessions and hands-on projects, students who enroll in SATC’s Diesel Technology Program will learn how to repair and maintain a wide range of agriculture, construction, and over the road trucking diesel engine applications. From hydraulics and power trains, to electrical systems and fuel injectors, no diesel engine is too complex for our students. Extensive instruction is also given on advanced diagnostics, EPA regulations and new technologies related to engine controls and emissions systems.

After completion of SATC’s Diesel Technology Program, graduates will have the opportunity to pursue career opportunities in a wide range of fields including construction, agriculture, railway and OTR trucking repair among many others.
